Lori Alden is a UC Berkeley grad with a Ph.D. in economics from UC Davis.  Before becoming a real estate broker and launching Chalkboard Realty, Lori taught at California universities for almost 20 years.

Lori's the author of FSBOPrimer.com, a how-to website that has been recommended by The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and other newspapers. She's also the author of KeepAgentsHonest.com, a website that helps buyers and sellers protect themselves when dealing with real estate agents, and CapturetheCommission.com, a website that explains why buyers should get buyer rebates when they buy properties. 

She's appeared as a featured guest on the nationally syndicated radio show Real Estate Today.

 

Ashok Kumar is consultant in the Financial and Accounting Services Industry and advises clients on business process improvement, risk assessments, internal controls and deriving business value out of technology investments.

His real estate experience includes selling, purchasing properties, working with planning, zoning, building officials, builders and contractors.

He is committed to bringing an objective, analytical; a risk based consulting approach to help people make informed real estate decisions.

He has advanced degree in Computer Sciences with industry certifications in Project Management, Business Process Improvement and Information Systems Audits.
